At the National Nanny Training Day/CT event Wee Care hosted
in April 2016, the Stamford Board of Heath gave a presentation and Q & A about
the Tdap vaccine. The vaccine protects against three
potentially life-threatening bacterial diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and
pertussis (whooping cough).
The Stamford Board of Heath provides the vaccine for free to nannies and caregivers or anyone giving care to an infant.
