Tdap Vaccine (Whooping Cough)‏ Provided for Free to Nannies and Caregivers


At the National Nanny Training Day/CT event Wee Care hosted in April 2016, the Stamford Board of Heath gave a presentation and Q & A about the Tdap vaccine. The vaccine protects against three potentially life-threatening bacterial diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough).  

The Stamford Board of Heath provides the vaccine for free to nannies and caregivers or anyone giving care to an infant.

Stamford's Wee Care Nanny Agency Hosts National Nanny Day Training Saturday

STAMFORD, Conn., -- Stamford's Wee Care Nanny Agency is hosting a one-day session Saturday for nannies on National Nanny Training Day. 

The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held Italian Center of Stamford at 1620 Newfield Ave. 

Among the topics that will be discussed is how to get children to listen and school psychologist Dr. Mistie Eltrich explains techniques on helping kids to want to do what's asked of them.  Read Article here...
